It has indeed been a long time since I did absolutely any posting .. I had a couple choices for what to do in the end i decided to go along with just one long big post and see what happened .. if it ended up being a really long post then I will split it up at a later date. But anyhow .. it has been a fun packed feature filled grand old time since around about. Now I have written about the site overhaul but that was a lame and obvious post .. and to be honest .. even though it matches the gallery I am not that happy with it .. and I seem to be using Flickr a lot anyways. Ok so here goes the run down.

Sometime around Xmas Heather came back for a visit out of her South East Asia visit. Now even though I would like to say she came down to see all of her old friends and that included me It was more of a Family thing for her so she did spend a lot of time with her family but we did get some good times in hanging out and partying. We went out for lunch just before she left to Breezes which was a nice place to hang out and chat … even if we didn’t get a blacony seat … but the food kinda sucked. If i remeber correctly I had a sucky Mahi Ceasar Salad and she had a Tuna Melt which wasn’t that melty due to the fact it wasn’t cooked for long enough. Anyways Heather is due to come back very soon again to start a job in Cayman again .. bummer i have to leave, my number of friends will go up by one in Cayman as I levae to somewhere with no Friends (if you don’t know about me leaving .. i’ll mention it more later on in this post)

Heather remained in Cayman until just after New Years. I had agreed to work up at Calico Jacks as a bar tender. I had been told various estimates on how much I might make that night in tips .. but wasn’t expecting any of what had been mentioned. So I turned up at Calico’s at about 7pm thinking I was being a little late, but no one else was really there. I sat down had a drink or two and chatted with some people while the bar was empty, I knew it wasn’t going to remain like that for very much longer. Todd or someone came up and gave me a Veuve Cliquot t shirt to wear for the night that was al ittle tight as it was a girls fitting t shirt as that was all they had sent down .. but it still looked pretty cool, until i realised I had worn white ‘long’ shorts, i like to call my cuba pants. I was now the man in white … but at least I had my Red Stripe Bar Apron holster thing to wear to kinda mix it up al ittle bit.

One other bonus of the New Year period was that Alex had come down for a more playfull visit than normal, and even though he had brought down some a friend / model to do some photography with I still got in a few days of hardcore diving with him (I really must go down and pay for that all soon) and He also came out to what ended up being the ultimate New Years party right on the caribbean beach in Grand Cayman known solely as Seven Mile. We raised hell, I got people very drunk, including myself as I was allowed to drink for free from my satelite bar all night long. Heather came by and said hi many times as did many other people I knew and didn’t know, we sold almost all our stock of beer which in my estimations was about 15 cases of beer which is about maybe 375 beers at say $3.00 each … thats almost $1000 which I think was about a tenth of the overall takings .. not bad for a beer only satelite bar.

Oh and we didn’t get going until about 10.30pm when people started turning up from other places and it went HARD until Midnight when we had to stop serving and do the countdown, then everyone was allowed to continue drinking their own stock they had brought with them but the bar shut quickly as they took payment for bill’s and cleared everything up very quickly.
There was talk of going to other parties afterwards, such as the spin party, or Todd’s for a chill out on his deck by the sea. But I just wanted to hang out on the beach, i mean how often do you get to do that, never right. Well eventually Martin came back and we sat and hung out for a bit trying to decide what to do, Heather had already called for her ride home and left, which i felt bad about as she had hung out with me and then i didn’t want to go to the spin party with her so she didn’t go either, didn’t seem like my scene so I said no in the end. So anyways back to the morning it was like 3am maybe when Martin and I decided to go and sleep in the car for a bit before going somewhere else. Well that didn’t happen. We still had a cooler full of beer, and had noticed some people sat on the beach so went over to say hi.

So anyways after hours of messing around on the beach and playing poker and other drinking games too we finally had some rest .. ok we didn’t but it was light up and Rackams was opening…
So we drove down to go see who was there, and thats when Martin got his awakening call (that he asked for) from Linda and another one from Lisa Marie.
That is pretty much all of what happened on New Years .. now I would go ahead and date this post properly .. but I want it on the top so everyone can read it ! More to come .. Karaoke Competition and More Partying as well as some UW stuff and a Visit from Elliot and a fewtrips out on some boats… oh and my big news about me leaving Cayman.
