After a tearfull moment last year about this time when I lost my Canon SD20 at my work xmas party by getting drunk and leaving it on the table in the midst of inch deep confetti. Finding a dark blue tiny camera in amongst confetti is hard normally when drunk … impossible. In a hurry for new years having not found my old camera I went and bought a new one .. my Nikon S3 which I have loved hating for the last year and never really got on with nor thought it performed well. At my house warming party the other week .. i left it on our table .. (once again a table!!) and someone else got drunk and decided it would be cool to stage dive the table and knock over all the beer bottles .. ok so that part was funny … finding my camera kinda dented and thrown around in all the ruble on the floor not so funny. But I was happy I had an excuse to buy a new Canon, which having played with in the shop the other day .. I LOVED.

Anyways .. I have lusted for a new camera for a year .. and i finally got my wish .. I had to share I am soooo happy !

Just the other night .. Saturday to be precise, a few of us ventured out for the once yearly event of El Martini’s Birthday. If ya didn’t know Martin is my roommate, and dispite being very unlucky, and been in trouble with the law, he’s probably the coolest guy I could have live with me.

Anyways .. we had a nice crowd out with us, everyone got waaaaasted, and Martin was biting ass all night long. It was like his birthday present to himself. So after so many months of hearing about the 7 year rollover and talking about it and watching other people talk about it, I couldn’t hold back, I had to join in .. you know me and my opinions.

So I shared .. will be interesting if anyone says anything to me about it .. I doubt it will affect anything .. and if the rules don’t change I am being forced off of Cayman next November. The British government should really step in and look after their expatriate on this one, especially after giving Caymanians European Passports ad then recieving nothing back for the generosity. Imagine if people years ago of today’s leading countries had thought the way Mr. David Ritch does.
Imagine if in England we had not let people from other countries settle there.
We would have lost all the added joys of living near and around different cultures and cuisines and memories and thoughts on things. It used to be you had to travel to learn of different countries and acquire their knowledge.

It’s amazing that I can’t find these available to buy anywhere .. they should so be on the market somewhere.
