So last night on the way to the gas station to buy some Soda’s my jeep started making funny noises then it made apocalyptic noises and no longer worked. It was dark, my flash light was being an ass, so i pushed it back into a parking spot until this morning.

When I took a look today it was obvious what was broken, so I removed some parts for size check and went to work and eventually bought the parts. When I got home removing the old part seemed harder than it should be so I went online to check i was doing it right. I was, but this site had some good ideas to help me with.

Well Jeepin.com says that if it is an old joint and it has just broken from wear and tear over time it will be harder to remove. It wasn’t just harder it was fricking impossible, nothing was budging. This is of course while I am under the vehicle trying to whack it with my hammer. I decided to take the long but probably easier route and remove the other U Joint attaching to the Gear Box so I could take the whole piece out from under the car to get some real power on whacking it loose.

Long story short it worked but still took some major blows to get it out (serious hammering) and then i realised and easier way once I was done with it all (isn’t that always the case!)

This is brilliant it has turned my iMate Windows Mobile Phone into a much more useable device. I lostmy stylus’ a long time ago and just use anything to hand or my fingers .. this actually allows you to use your fingers just like an iphone !
